Portrait Inquiry

Who is being photographed?

What type of photo shoot are you looking to have done? What is your vision?

Share with me all of the details. I love to get a better understanding of what you envision.

All sessions require Non-refundable 30% retainer to secure session. The remaining balance is due the day of your photo shoot.

When should you have your session?

If you are planning to share your photos to Social media by a specific date. I suggest to schedule your session minimum 3 weeks prior to the date. Otherwise a rush turnaround fee starting at $100 may be applied.

Engagement sessions: 2 months - 1 year prior to your Wedding date

Head shot/Marketing: at least 1 - 3 months to your launch/deadline date

Graduation sessions: any time you receive your cap and gown or weeks before graduation date if you would like to share the photos the day of

Newborn sessions: preferably within the first two weeks baby is born or once everyone is comfortable and ready. If baby is in the NICU confirm with doctors

Maternity sessions: 6-8 months

Family sessions: Any time that works best for all of your family members

Birthday sessions: minimum 3 weeks prior to the day of the actual birthday if you would like the photos for the day of your special day.

Where will the session take place?

I am based in Bethel, Connecticut - Fairfield County.

Photos can take place at your favorite location whether it be a state park, beach, waterfall, garden, farm, open field with high or low grass, urban setting, a favorite indoor location, or indoors/outdoors the comfort of your home. Depending on the circumstances I do offer house calls where I can put together a small set up in your home with the proper equipment. I have backdrops you can choose from and lighting to assist so you do not have to worry about “not having enough lighting.” Not much space is needed so do not think that we won’t be able to make it work. (These house studio sessions are upcharged due to traveling with additional equipment and additional time for set up).

If you’re unsure of where, I’m happy to give recommendations to what you envision for your final photos.

In other cases I am willing to travel out of state or country. I don’t mind going on a little road trip and am always ready to catch a flight. My passport is excited to add more stamps!

Why am I great fit for you?

You like to keep it simple. A mix of traditional posed photos and sweet memorable candid shots. You’re not into heavy editing or heavy filters where you cannot recognize yourself - nothing wrong with it but just not your cup of tea. You want someone who is passionate, that you can trust and feel comfortable with. Most importantly have a significant time where the process is simple, natural and effortless. Think of me as that cousin you’re excited to make an appearance at the family gatherings.

How does this work?

Once you have submitted the inquiry form you will be contacted and we will discuss your desired photo shoot. After the retainer is paid and the Portrait contract is signed we will confirm the fun details such as location, outfits, etc!

Yay! It’s photo day.. If you are planning hair and makeup I highly recommend to schedule the timing accordingly. If there will be children- have snacks, a favorite toy or prepare your best bribes to avoid the cries!

During your session, I’ll capture a variety of photos to give you a full, well-rounded gallery. I’ll guide you through natural posing and offer direction to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Along the way, I will also snap some candid moments to keep things fun and genuine.

After the photo shoot, you will receive a private online gallery where you can view all the images from our session. From there, you can select your favorites to be delivered digitally with any necessary retouches. Please keep in mind my style of work for the final photos. Prints are not included in service fee but may be purchased a la carte.

Throughout the process I am available to be reached by phone or email. Once you’re in with me you’re never a bother!
